In Week 26 (June 27–July 3, 2022), emergency department visits and hospitalizations following visits were down slightly among 2- to 14-year-olds (-9%, or 7,065 visits, and -8%, or 397 hospitalizations) and among 15- to 74-year-olds (-5%, or 13,649 visits, and -5%, or 1,961 hospitalizations), while remaining stable in other age groups.

For the fourth consecutive week, visits for suspected COVID-19 across all age groups continued to rise (7,831 vs. 5,746 visits, or +36% vs. +43% in Week 25) in all age groups: +46% among children (or +357 visits) and +35% among adults (+1,728 visits).
