Different cultures, different sleeping habits.

In Japan, naps are viewed favorably; they reflect the dedication citizens bring to their work and social lives. In France, napping remains taboo and is not widely accepted socially. Every people and culture has its own views on sleep. But these cultures are threatened by the rise of “high-performance sleep,” designed to be as short as possible. An ethnological approach to the relationship societies have with sleep.
