Epidemiological Situation

Over the past 15 days, 3 new cases have been reported, bringing the total number of locally acquired cases identified since the beginning of the year to 43. All three cases are recent, with onset dates ranging from June 14 to June 18.They are located in areas not yet identified as zones of viral circulation: two in Saint-Gilles-les-Bains (Caverne), which could correspond to a new outbreak, and one isolated case in Saint-Paul (Grand Pourpier neighborhood) with no reported link to known zones of viral circulation. An imported case had already been identified in Saint-Gilles-les-Bains in April 2017.
