Key points

Bronchiolitis

  • No current outbreak

  • Activity at SOS Médecins clinics related to bronchiolitis shows a marked increase this week (8.6% vs. 1.8% in Week 1), reaching levels observed during this period in the previous season

  • Emergency department activity remains stable and low. It is lower than that observed during the previous two seasons

Flu

  • No current outbreak

  • Activity at SOS Médecins clinics related to the flu is stable and close to the levels observed during the same period last season

  • Flu-related activity in emergency departments (Figure 4) is low and below the levels seen during the same period in the two previous seasons

COVID-19

  • Low activity

  • The number of consultations and the proportion of activity by SOS Médecins associations for suspected COVID-19 is stable and low (1.0% compared to 1.0% in S-1)

  • Emergency department activity is stable and low (0.4% compared to 0.4% in S-1)

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Low activity

  • Activity at SOS Médecins clinics and emergency departments for gastroenteritis remains within the ranges typically observed during this same period

Chikungunya, dengue, and Zika virus

  • Since May 1, 57 imported cases of dengue have been biologically confirmed (representing 3% of cases in France). As observed at the national level, the majority of cases (63%, 36 cases) were returning from Martinique and Guadeloupe. No imported cases of chikungunya or Zika virus infection have been detected. The imported cases were reported mainly in Côte-d’Or (22 cases) and in the Doubs (11 cases)
