- On July 9, 2026, a new heat wave began in the region. As of that date, Météo France placed two departments under an orange alert (Aube and Haute-Marne), with the other eight departments under a yellow alert. From July 10 to 14, all ten departments in the region were placed under an orange alert. On July 17, this alert was lifted for the entire region.
- The regional analysis of the iCanicule composite health indicator (including heatstroke, dehydration, and hyponatremia) for the period from July 14 to 20 shows fluctuations that trended downward starting on July 14 for SOS Médecins and on July 17 for emergency room departments.
