Key points: - Approximately 13,000 invasive infections caused by these six bacteria in France in 2003, 60% of which were caused by S. pneumoniae. - Stability in invasive infections caused by H. influenzae, L. monocytogenes, N. meningitidis, and S. agalactiae. ¿ Increase in invasive infections caused by S. pyogenes and S. pneumoniae.
