For some students, high school is like a second home.

José Rémy is the principal of Champlain High School, a co-ed institution (offering both academic and vocational programs) in Chennevières (Val-de-Marne), which is part of the "Ambition Réussite" network. For twenty-five years, he has been experimenting with the concept of a health-promoting high school. His guiding principles are: welcoming students, fostering dialogue, organizing a variety of extracurricular activities, developing students’ psychosocial skills, celebrating achievements, listening to students, suicide prevention, and collaboration between teachers and other school staff.
