Social-emotional skills: definition and current state of knowledge.
The ability to solve problems, communicate effectively, be self-aware and aware of others, and manage one’s emotions: these are just a few of the psychosocial skills (PSS) that people possess. PSCs are recognized as a key determinant of health and well-being, one that can be effectively addressed through intervention. However, this type of intervention has only been implemented relatively recently in France.
