Profile of early pregnancy in Brazil.

In Brazil, the rate of early pregnancy among teenagers is high. A team of researchers interviewed these young mothers and followed them for one year starting from the birth of their child. Many of them come from disadvantaged backgrounds. The youngest are forced to give up their education. While the majority wanted to have a child, they most often live in precarious conditions and are dependent on their families.
