The limitations of preventive measures for older adults.
If we want to promote the health of people over 60 rather than focusing on prevention, we must first and foremost focus on enhancing their well-being and quality of life. Prevention policies targeting older adults are not necessarily appropriate. This article offers a brief critical review of the issue, with a particular focus on the role of prevention in social health inequalities.
