Health education through film: *Les Témoins* by André Téchiné.

Les Témoins, directed by André Téchiné, is a drama set at the beginning of the "AIDS era." Carefully avoiding any judgment, Téchiné shows how the emergence of AIDS forced a redefinition of sexuality, love, and life in general. This film can be used by professionals for health education, particularly with 16- to 20-year-olds. Provided that the facilitator acknowledges and takes into account the rejection some adolescents may feel toward images or ideas that offend them, and uses these reactions and resistance to fuel the discussion. This is a way to identify the "sensitive issues" that the director touches upon in adolescents.
