Evaluation of Innovative Initiatives: The Case of Aquitaine.

How do funders view the evaluation of public health initiatives and programs? What do they expect from such evaluations? How do they themselves evaluate the projects submitted to them? This article presents the perspective of the Aquitaine Regional Health Agency (DRASS) based on a collaborative evaluation of the program for early detection and brief interventions in alcohol abuse in Aquitaine.
