Mental Health Syndromic Surveillance Bulletin, October 11, 2021

Key Points

  • In emergency departments, visits were stable or declining across all indicators. The levels observed were similar to or lower than those of previous years.

  • In SOS Médecins clinics, indicators were stable or declining, except for anxiety and behavioral disorders in adults. Levels were comparable to or lower than those of the previous three years. Given a nationwide strike by SOS Médecins clinics on September 27, 2021, which impacted activity during week 39, the indicators should be interpreted with caution.
