Key Points

Week 17:

  • Most indicators remained within the usual range of fluctuation for adults but were on the rise among children:

    • visits to the emergency room for suicide attempts, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and conduct disorders were on the rise among children; these increases are typically observed in the week following school breaks;

    • SOS Médecins medical interventions for behavioral and sleep disorders were slightly higher across all age groups.

  • The levels reached by the indicators showing an increase among children were often higher than those in 2019 and 2018. The levels of indicators for depressive symptoms among 15- to 44-year-olds and anxiety among adults were also higher than those in 2019 and 2018.
