Mental Health Syndromic Surveillance Bulletin, May 24, 2022

Key Points

In week 20 of 2022, most indicators (in emergency departments and at SOS Médecins) were stable or declining. There was a slight increase in emergency department visits for mood disorders among children, suicide attempts among those aged 45–64, and anxiety disorders among those aged 15–44.

The levels observed are comparable to those of previous years for all indicators, with the exception of emergency department visits for suicide attempts and mood disorders among 15- to 44-year-olds and children, which remain at high levels.
