Flu

  • Emergency departments - Emergency department activity related to flu-like symptoms is on the rise.

  • SOS Médecins - The proportion of consultations for a diagnosis of influenza-like illness is on the rise.

  • Sentinelles Network - The incidence rate for influenza-like illness reported by the Sentinelles network in week 10, not yet consolidated, is 336 per 100,000 inhabitants (95% CI [207; 465]), an increase.

  • Virological surveillance - Since the start of surveillance, the Rénal network has isolated 1,726 type A viruses, and doctors in the Sentinelles network have isolated 31 type A influenza viruses (data not available for the week analyzed).

  • Severe influenza cases: 10 cases admitted to intensive care were reported by the intensive care sentinel network.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Emergency departments - The proportion of visits for gastroenteritis remains stable.

  • SOS Médecins - The proportion of consultations for a diagnosis of gastroenteritis is decreasing.

  • Sentinel Network - The incidence rate for acute diarrhea reported by the Sentinel Network in week 10, not yet consolidated, is 130 per 100,000 inhabitants (95% CI [48; 212]), down from previous levels.
