Chikungunya, dengue, Zika

  • The first locally transmitted dengue outbreak of 2023 was recorded in the Bouches-du-Rhône department in early August. To date, two locally transmitted cases have been confirmed. The primary imported case linked to this outbreak has been identified.

  • In the region, 26 imported cases of dengue and 1 imported case of chikungunya have been identified since May 1, 2023

High temperatures, heat wave

  • No extreme heat forecast by Météo France in the coming days

  • Heat-related health indicators are declining.
