The first locally transmitted dengue outbreak of 2023 was recorded in the Bouches-du-Rhône department in early August. To date, two locally transmitted cases have been confirmed. The primary imported case linked to this outbreak has been identified.
In the region, 26 imported cases of dengue and 1 imported case of chikungunya have been identified since May 1, 2023
