COVID-19

  • The regional incidence rate, at 138 per 100,000 inhabitants, is decreasing (-19%). This decrease is seen in both departments (-23% in Southern Corsica and -15% in Northern Corsica). The testing rate has decreased slightly compared to the previous week (to 4,123 per 100,000 inhabitants, or -9%), and remains low compared to the weeks preceding the lockdown. The regional positivity rate, at 3.5%, has also decreased (-0.5 percentage points) compared to the previous week.

  • The number of active hospitalizations across all departments is decreasing at the regional level (82 hospitalizations vs. 88 in Week 15). The number of people hospitalized in intensive care or intensive/continuous care is stable (14 hospitalizations vs. 15 in Week 15).
