Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI)
In week 51, activity for acute respiratory infections across all age groups continued to rise in primary care and hospitals (a similar trend was observed at the national level).
Bronchiolitis
In Week 51, the Occitanie region was in its fourth epidemic week, and most indicators continued to rise (with the exception of SOS Médecins calls, which were down compared to Week 50).
Influenza and influenza-like illness
In week 51, influenza surveillance indicators were rising sharply in Occitanie (the region’s second epidemic week). This trend was also observed across France.
COVID-19
Several COVID-19 surveillance indicators continued to rise in week 51 compared to previous weeks (use of emergency care, indicators from wastewater surveillance, and reports from long-term care facilities).
Acute Gastroenteritis
In the Occitanie region, the indicators monitored by Santé publique France for gastroenteritis were generally stable in week 51 compared to the previous week (similar trends among adults and young children).
