Key Points

Mortality
Over the past three weeks, the number of deaths (all ages and those aged 75 and older) has been in line with the values typically observed during this period.

Emergency room visits by vulnerable populations
Activity related to emergency room visits by vulnerable populations (75 years and older and under 1 year of age) remains below alert thresholds and close to expected levels.

Reportable Diseases (MDO)
No notable changes this week.

Chickenpox
According to the SOS Médecins associations, activity for chickenpox remains high, though it is down compared to last week and is now below the alert threshold.

Acute Gastroenteritis (AG)
Both nationally and in Aquitaine, the number of consultations for gastroenteritis in hospital emergency departments and private practices continues to decline.

Vector-borne diseases
In Lot-et-Garonne, since the resumption of enhanced surveillance for chikungunya and dengue on May 1 (see procedure on page 8), one suspected case of imported dengue has been reported (pending biological confirmation).

Asthma
The use of SOS Médecins networks and emergency departments within the Oscour® network for asthma in Aquitaine is slightly down (across all age groups). In France, a decrease in SOS Médecins activity for asthma is also observed.

Allergies
In Aquitaine, according to the SOS Médecins and Oscour® networks, activity related to allergies is down compared to last week. Nationally, a decrease in SOS Médecins activity for this condition is also observed.

School
Absenteeism In S20, the overall school absenteeism rate remains stable.
