Health Monitoring in the Normandy Region. Update as of June 18, 2021.
Key Points
COVID-19
In Week 23, in Normandy, epidemiological indicators continued to decline.
The incidence rate fell by 45% between weeks S22 and S23. All departments saw their crude incidence rates and rates by age group decrease. Positivity rates are all below 5%. Pressure on hospital capacity is also easing, following the same trend.
As health restrictions are lifted, it remains important to adhere to individual prevention measures, testing, and isolation of cases and contacts. Vaccinating eligible individuals who have not yet been vaccinated is also a major priority to consolidate this positive trend.
