The epidemiological situation in the region continued to deteriorate in week 30, with incidence rates still on the rise, particularly in the departments of Nord, Oise, and Pas-de-Calais.
Epidemic activity remains very high among younger age groups, with a more pronounced increase among 10- to 19-year-olds and 30- to 49-year-olds in Week 30.
A slight initial impact on outpatient and hospital care at the regional level.
The L452R mutation (characteristic of the Delta variant) is overwhelmingly prevalent (95%) among viral strains in the region.
Vaccination as of July 25, 2021: 65% of residents in Hauts-de-France have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and more than one in two people (53%) have completed their vaccination series.
