COVID-19

• In Week 11 of 2023, the incidence rate continued to rise, exceeding 100 cases per 100,000 population for the first time (103 cases per 100,000 population);

• The incidence rate is rising across all age groups. The sharpest increase is observed among those aged 10–19 (+64%). The highest incidence rate is observed among those aged 80 and older (157 cases per 100,000 inhabitants);

• The positivity rate (17%) is up compared to the previous week;

• The testing rate is 602 tests per 100,000 inhabitants in week 11 of 2023; it is rising among those under 20 and those aged 40–49, and stable in other age groups.

Bronchiolitis

• OSCOUR®: In week 11-2023, the proportion of emergency department visits related to bronchiolitis among children under 2 years of age rose slightly. It stands at 4.9%, representing 65 visits. The proportion of hospitalizations for bronchiolitis among all hospitalizations following an emergency department visit also shows a slight increase

• SOS Médecins: In week 11 of 2023, the proportion of cases handled by SOS Médecins related to bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age was 3.5%, stable compared to week 10 of 2023; however, fluctuations are often observed during this period

Influenza and influenza-like illnesses

• OSCOUR®: In week 11-2023, the number of emergency department visits for influenza-like illness, all ages, decreased slightly compared to the previous week (231 versus 257 in week 10-2023). The proportion of cases also decreased slightly, with 0.9% of emergency department visits related to influenza

• SOS Médecins: The number of consultations for flu-like illness, across all age groups, remained stable compared to the previous week (650 consultations versus 642 in Week 10 of 2023), representing 9.4% of total activity

Acute gastroenteritis

• OSCOUR®: The number of emergency department visits for acute gastroenteritis (AGE) across all ages has remained generally stable in recent weeks, with 353 visits in Week 11-2023, representing 1.4% of total activity

• SOS Médecins: The number of consultations for acute gastroenteritis across all age groups was stable in Week 11-2023, with 596 visits (compared to 626 in Week 10-2023), representing an 8.6% share of activity, a slight decrease compared to Week 10-2023
