COVID-19-related mortality remains high.
As of January 21, 2021, 141 cases of infection with emerging variants had been recorded in France: 131 cases of the VOC 202012/01 variant (United Kingdom) and 10 cases of the 501Y.V2 variant (South Africa). For the Centre-Val de Loire region, 13 cases of the UK variant have been confirmed: 8 in Eure-et-Loir, 4 in Loiret, and 1 in Indre-et-Loire. This count does not include any secondary or even tertiary cases identified during investigations that were not sequenced.

Bronchiolitis: activity related to bronchiolitis was stable at SOS Médecins and in hospital emergency departments
Gastroenteritis: activity related to gastroenteritis was down at SOS Médecins and slightly up in hospital emergency departments
