COVID-19

Decrease in the incidence rate (IR) calculated based on PCR and antigen tests. The regional IR fell from 51.5 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 37 to 36.6 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 38. IRs are below 100 per 100,000 inhabitants and declining across all departments in the region: -21 points in Côtes d’Armor, -11 points in Finistère, -17 points in Ille-et-Vilaine, and -12 points in Morbihan. The epidemiological situation continues to improve across all Breton departments. Attention remains focused on a few EPCIs with elevated incidence rates as well as on schools in connection with the start of the school year. Vaccination coverage stands at 81.4% for a single dose and 79.1% for a full course.

Asthma

High activity among children under 15 during the back-to-school period. Decrease in the number of emergency room visits following the peak observed in week 37. Another increase in the number of SOS Médecins consultations compared to the previous week.
