COVID-19

Sharp increase in the incidence rate (IR), testing rate (TR), and positivity rate (PR). The regional (unadjusted) IR rose from 779.2 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 25 to 1,237.3 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 26. IRs are rising in all 4 departments. Increase in emergency room visits, calls to SOS Médecins, and general care hospitalizations; stabilization of critical care hospitalizations. Estimated vaccination coverage by place of residence stands at 84.6% for one dose and 83.8% for a full course.

Extreme heat, heat wave

Brittany is under a green heat wave alert. There has been a slight decrease in healthcare utilization for heat-related conditions compared to week 25.

Acute gastroenteritis

Low activity. General downward trend in indicators for SOS Médecins. There is also a decrease in the number of emergency room visits compared to the previous week, including for children under 5 years of age.
