COVID-19
Regionally: The incidence rate continues to decline in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté for the 8th consecutive week. With a 15% decrease, the regional incidence rate remains below the threshold of 50 per 105 residents for the fourth consecutive week (29.1 per 105 residents) and is lower than the national incidence rate of 44 per 105 residents. The number of new hospitalizations and new admissions to intensive care units remains low. The number of outbreaks reported by medical-social institutions (ESMS) is low.
At the departmental level: Departmental incidence rates are declining, ranging from 18.5 per 105 residents (Nièvre) to 40.7 per 105 residents (Jura), except in Haute-Saône: in this department, the incidence rate and positivity rate are rising slightly, but with low case numbers (79 positive cases in Week 40 vs. 62 in Week 39).
Flu
Flu-related activity at SOS Médecins and emergency departments in the region is currently low and follows the trends of the previous two seasons.
Bronchiolitis
Indicators from SOS Médecins are declining slightly this week, whereas those from emergency departments continue to rise.
Gastroenteritis
The percentage of gastroenteritis cases among diagnoses made by SOS Médecins and hospital emergency departments shows a slight increase in week 40 of 2021 compared to the same week in previous seasons.
