COVID-19
The decline in SARS-CoV-2 viral circulation continues in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté (regional incidence rate below the national rate). Only Côte-d’Or has an incidence rate higher than the national rate. However, the regional positivity rate (21%) remains high (above the national level).
The decline in the use of emergency care and the number of new hospitalizations (both general and critical care) is continuing.
Influenza
The region remains in the post-epidemic phase.
The decline in the number of flu-like cases treated in emergency departments and by SOS Médecins continues.
No new severe cases of influenza were reported by the intensive care unit sentinel network this week (a total of 24 ICU admissions since the end of 2021).
No new outbreaks of acute respiratory infections (ARI) in community settings this week (9 ongoing outbreaks out of 33 reported since September 1, 2021. Among the reports, 9 are linked to influenza.
Acute gastroenteritis
The rate of gastroenteritis cases in emergency departments remains stable at around 1% but remains above the levels of the previous two seasons.
