Health Risks of PCBs in Freshwater FishSince 2006, several fishing restrictions and recommendations against consuming fish species that accumulate the highest levels of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs)—such as eels, fatty fish, and species known to be highly bioaccumulative—have been implemented.
