Guadeloupe
The SARS-CoV-2 epidemic continues to decline in Guadeloupe. In Week 39, all virological indicators were decreasing. The 80–89 age group recorded the highest incidence rate. The effective R value over the seven-day rolling period from September 25 to October 1, 2022, of 0.79 (95% CI [0.72–0.87]) remained significantly below 1 and continued to indicate a slowdown in SARS-CoV-2 transmission across the archipelago.
The hospital situation remained favorable in Week 39. As of October 5, 2022, nine new hospital admissions across all departments were recorded, including no new admissions to critical care. Furthermore, no deaths were reported in Week 39.
Saint Martin
Viral circulation remained low, with nine new SARS-CoV-2 infections in Week 39.
At the hospital, the situation was calm. Two visits to the emergency room for suspected COVID-19 were recorded, and no new hospital admissions were entered into SI-VIC in week 39.
Saint Barthélemy
Fewer than ten new people tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 in week 39.
In hospitals, the situation remained calm in week 39. No emergency room visits for suspected COVID-19 were recorded, and no new hospital admissions were entered into SI-VIC.
