When the collapse of the natural world causes people anxiety
Is eco-anxiety the ailment of our time? Surveys show that it is affecting more and more people. The psychological impact of biodiversity loss is now the subject of research. Provided it is not experienced (too) negatively, it is not considered a pathology and may even prove to be a driving force for local collective action. Those suffering from "eco-anxiety" can confront their fears about the future.
