Overview

In week 22 (May 25–31, 2026), activity increased among children under 2 years of age in both networks and among children aged 2–14 in the SOS Médecins associations. It was stable or declining in the other age groups in both networks.

Against a backdrop of rising temperatures in Week 22, an increase in visits was noted:

  • At levels higher than in previous years, in both networks for dehydration, malaise, insect bites, isolated fever, and skin conditions, and in emergency departments for hyperthermia/heatstroke, gastroenteritis, and vomiting.
  • At levels comparable to previous years in both networks for asthma, allergies, and conjunctivitis.

An increase in cases of chickenpox is also observed among children in both networks.
