Overview

In Week 17 (April 20–26, 2026), activity at SOS Médecins clinics decreased among children aged 2–14 and remained stable in other age groups.

Treatments for insect bites, allergies, and trauma are on the rise across all age groups.

There was also an increase, albeit from low baseline levels, in chickenpox cases among children under 2 and adults aged 15–74. Among the latter group, case numbers reached levels at the high end of previous years’ ranges.

Nationally, the number of deaths from all causes remained stable in week 16.
