Overall Summary

In Week 34 (August 17–23, 2026), all-cause activity in both networks was stable or declining compared with the previous week across all age groups.

An increase was observed in both networks for respiratory indicators (asthma and bronchitis across all ages in the SOS Médecins network, asthma among 2- to 14-year-olds in the OSCOUR® network) and dermatological indicators among children (impetigo in the SOS Médecins network, dermatological conditions among children under 2 in the OSCOUR® network).

At the national and regional levels, the number of deaths from all causes reported by INSEE remained within the usual range of fluctuation across all age groups during week 33 of 2026 (August 10–16, 2026).
