Week 5

  • In the ER:

    • Little change in mental health indicators during January 2023.

    • Visits to the emergency room for suicidal ideation remained at a level significantly higher than in previous years, particularly among 11- to 14-year-olds and 18- to 24-year-olds.

    • To a lesser extent, visits for mood disorders (slightly up among 18-64-year-olds in Week 5) and suicide attempts were also slightly higher among 15-24-year-olds.

  • In the SOS Médecins network:

    • with the exception of an increase in cases of depressive states among 18- to 24-year-olds (low numbers), already noted in the January 9, 2023, bulletin, indicators remained at levels comparable to (or even lower than) those of previous years.
