Shift workers: Sleep deprivation = danger!

Workers and technicians in industry and the service sector, drivers, and healthcare workers on rotating shifts or on call experience disrupted sleep-wake cycles, which increase the risk of traffic accidents and workplace accidents. Several studies have thus established a link between sleep deprivation and medical errors. A review of the literature and some advice for shift workers, provided by professionals.
