The Giordanella Report on Sleep: From Assessment to Action.
Twenty to thirty percent of French people suffer from insomnia, and 9 to 10 percent from severe insomnia. The impact on health remains underestimated, and these disorders are inadequately treated, concludes Dr. Jean-Pierre Giodanella in the report he submitted to Health Minister Xavier Bertrand on December 14, 2007. The working group he led recommends expanding health information and education, training professionals, and improving treatment.
