Feel Good Program: Developing Social-Emotional Skills from an Early Age

During the Feel Good program sessions, sex education is not addressed directly with the children. Instead, the program focuses on developing psychosocial skills, many of which are essential for good sexual health. Addressing these skills early—in this case, with children aged 9 to 11—and without a direct link to the topic of sexuality allows these skills to be applied in various situations. This facilitates the adoption of behaviors that promote positive and respectful sexual health during adolescence.
