Gaining a better understanding of the prevalence of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and the living conditions of people with ASD is a challenge for our public policy

Since April 6, 2018, France has had a national strategy for autism within the context of neurodevelopmental disorders. This strategy has several objectives, the primary one being to put science back at the heart of public policy by establishing a world-class research program in France. Among the key actions outlined in this commitment is the call to organize the collection of epidemiological data by developing reliable indicators and establishing a surveillance system.[...]
