Increase in the incidence of Salmonella Hadar infections in France

The cases originate from all over France, though they are concentrated primarily in the departments located west of a line connecting the Ardennes and Pyrénées-Atlantiques departments. Among the overseas departments, Martinique and Réunion have relatively high incidence rates, at 1.8 and 1.6 per 100,000 inhabitants, respectively.
