Influenza and Flu-Like Illnesses

  • Fifth week of the epidemic in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. Activity is on the rise at SOS Médecins and declining in hospital emergency departments. The proportion of hospitalizations following a visit to the emergency department continues to rise.

Bronchiolitis

  • Eighth week of the epidemic in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. Epidemic peak passed in S50. Decrease in activity in emergency departments and at SOS Médecins.

COVID-19

  • Low activity, with a downward trend in hospital emergency departments and at SOS Médecins, as well as in the level of SARS-CoV-2 circulation in wastewater.

Severe cases of acute respiratory failure admitted to intensive care

  • Since week 40, 75 severe cases of influenza, 16 of COVID-19, and 14 severe cases of RSV infection have been reported by intensive care units participating in surveillance, as well as 38 severe cases of bronchiolitis by the pediatric and neonatal intensive care network.
