  • Dengue: two imported cases have been identified since the start of the season in Corsica. For your information, episodes of local transmission have been identified in Occitanie and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.

  • Chikungunya: For your information, one locally transmitted case was identified in Île-de-France in July.

  • West Nile: For your information, active viral circulation in the Var region (4 human cases and 1 equine case).

Extreme heat, heat wave

  • Both departments have been under an orange alert since Saturday, August 10. This alert level remains in effect.

Pollen

  • The projected health impact of pollen across the entire region is moderate, due to a low risk associated with three different types of pollen: grasses, plantains, and nettles (source: RNSA).
