COVID-19

  • Viral circulation continues to rise sharply.

  • Slight increase in the number of patients in general hospital wards and a decrease in the number of patients in critical care.

Bronchiolitis

  • Transition into the post-epidemic phase.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Emergency departments - The proportion of visits for gastroenteritis is stable.

  • SOS Médecins - The proportion of consultations for a diagnosis of gastroenteritis is stable.

  • Sentinelles Network - The incidence rate for acute diarrhea reported by the Sentinelles Network in week 02, not yet finalized, is 94 per 100,000 inhabitants (95% CI [47; 141]).

Influenza

  • Emergency departments - Emergency department activity related to flu-like syndromes is on the rise.

  • SOS Médecins - The proportion of consultations for a diagnosis of influenza-like illness is on the rise.

  • Sentinelles Network - The incidence rate for influenza-like illness reported by the Sentinelles network in week 02, not yet consolidated, is 254 per 100,000 inhabitants (95% CI [167; 341]).

  • Virological surveillance - Since the start of surveillance, the Rénal network has isolated 320 type A viruses, and doctors in the Sentinelles network have isolated 7 type A influenza viruses (data not available for the week analyzed).

  • Severe cases of influenza: 3 cases admitted to intensive care were reported by the intensive care sentinel networks.
