Epidemiological Situation

The OSCOUR® hospital emergency department surveillance network shows an increase in visits for gastroenteritis since the beginning of August. However, this increase is typical for this time of year. This upward trend is also observed among sentinel physicians. Virological surveillance of viruses causing gastroenteritis has revealed the circulation of rotavirus in Réunion.
