  • End of the seasonal surge. However, leptospirosis is present year-round in the region, and cases also occur during the southern winter.

Acute respiratory infections (influenza, bronchiolitis, COVID-19)

  • Given the rise in health and virological indicators over the past three weeks, Réunion is entering an influenza epidemic phase.

  • Health indicators related to bronchiolitis remain at their baseline levels.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Surveillance indicators in primary care and hospitals (all ages combined) are declining, with a low health impact.
