Epidemiological Situation

Two clusters of dengue cases have been identified in Saint Pierre and Saint Gilles les Hauts, indicating the presence of virus transmission chains on the island. Aside from these two very limited episodes of transmission, no active circulation of the virus has been identified on the island despite increased surveillance.The epidemiological situation remains at Alert Level 1B* of the arbovirus control plan ("Knowledge of a dengue or chikungunya outbreak in the regional exchange zone and absence of cases or occurrence of isolated cases").
