Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation

Outbreaks of dengue virus transmission are still active in several areas of the island (Koungou, Mamoudzou, and Labattoir). Furthermore, viral circulation has been identified or is suspected in other areas. As current weather conditions remain highly conducive to the vector, the utmost vigilance must be maintained to limit the risks of increased viral circulation and the potential for an epidemic to develop across the entire territory.
