Since August 23, 2024, 8,749 cases of chikungunya have been reported on the island, including 8,600 in 2025.
The outbreak continues to spread, with more than 2,800 cases detected in S10.
The southern municipalities, including Le Tampon, continue to report the highest number of cases, but the outbreak has now spread across the entire island and is progressing everywhere.
Dengue
Since the beginning of the year, the spread of dengue has remained limited.
