Key Points
Flu: High activity in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, as in France; at this stage of the epidemic, 8 severe cases of flu have been admitted to intensive care in the LR region since monitoring began.
Gastroenteritis: the outbreak is still active; the number of cases seen by SOS Médecins remains high but is decreasing; the number of cases diagnosed in emergency departments in the Languedoc-Roussillon region has doubled among children under 2 years of age.
Bronchiolitis: the outbreak is still active but declining in the region and across France.
Hospital strain: several facilities have reported strain.
