Key Points

COVID-19

  • Oscour® Network: visits for suspected COVID-19 continued to rise in week 12 of 2023 across all age groups but remained at a relatively low level (119 emergency room visits, or 41 per 10,000 consultations).

  • SOS Médecins Network: Procedures for suspected or confirmed COVID-19 cases increased for the second consecutive week (65 procedures, or 175 procedures per 10,000 consultations).

Influenza

  • In week 12 of 2023, Occitanie remained in the post-epidemic phase with a very slow decline in indicators.

  • Oscour® Network: cases across all age groups for diagnosis of influenza/influenza-like illness were decreasing compared to the previous week in all age groups and all departments except Gard (stable).

  • SOS Médecins Network: procedures for all ages for the diagnosis of influenza/influenza-like illness were decreasing compared to the previous week, except in the Pyrénées-Orientales (stable).

Gastroenteritis and Acute Diarrhea

  • Oscour® Network: Gastroenteritis activity was moderate in week 12 of 2023. Consultations for all ages for a diagnosis of gastroenteritis were on the rise compared to the previous week.

  • SOS Médecins Network: Gastroenteritis activity was low in week 12 of 2023. Medical procedures for all ages for a diagnosis of gastroenteritis were stable compared to the previous week.
