Addressing protective factors to prevent farmer suicides

There are many factors contributing to farmers’ mental health issues, but there are also protective factors that can serve as the basis for prevention programs. In Occitanie, France’s leading agricultural region, a study is underway to identify promising interventions among the many initiatives implemented to safeguard the mental health of the farming community.
