COVID-19

  • COVID-19 activity is rising slightly but remains low (slight increase in the following indicators: incidence rate, activity in emergency departments and SOS Médecins, number of reports to ESMS).

  • Other indicators remain stable and low.

Flu and flu-like illnesses

  • Activity related to flu-like syndromes is moderate and stable in emergency departments and slightly increasing at SOS Médecins.

  • The number of hospitalizations following visits to the emergency room remains low. Type B virus is the predominant strain circulating.

  • The duration of this 2022–23 epidemic is longer than the average for epidemics from 2010 to 2022.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Activity for acute gastroenteritis, which has increased this week, is at a moderate level for SOS Médecins and in emergency departments.
